Thanksgiving Point Flower Gardens

If you have never been down to Thanksgiving Point to walk
through the gardens, you really need to go. It was my first time to

go and it was so beautiful with all the flowers.

We played in the little pool of water. Addison was loving
the water and making the water fly everywhere.

Well while we were camping, we put mesquito repelant sticks out, they smoke and
then the mesquitos stay away. Well Addison was getting closer and I said "No Addison"
and then she looked at me as I was standing up to go and get her and she ran
because I said no and she touched it. Well needless to say, it burned her. I rushed her to
a bucket of water and we said to play in the water, so she put her hand in the water.
We wanted to look at it, so we took her hand out and I looked at it and said "oh"
and then she started to cry. She was pretty strong. Mommy on the other
hand was not very strong I was crying for awhile. I felt so bad that I didn't get to her
quick enough and I felt horrible that she burned herself.

We bandaged it up and wrapped her hand up. We put a sock on it because she
would run around and fall in the dirt. It was great protective wear :).
Doesn't she look so cute.

This is what it looks like now. It has been 6 days. It is looking tons better.

We went with Trevor's family camping and 4-Wheeling
after we went with my family to the Condo.
It was our fun filled week off. It was full of fun.
Addison kept us sooo busy chasing her around the camp area,
but it was really fun. She loved the dirt and she loved to go
into the tent and play with her toys and jump on our air mattress.

Addison loved the 4-Wheeler so much. On our long ride,
she fell asleep in my arms. My back was aching so bad from
holding her up and making sure her goggles didn't slide into her eyes.

Addison and I are the luckiest girls. Trevor is so amazing he is the love of my life along with Addison. I am greatful for him in our lifes for all that he does for us. He is so amazing and is always there for us and to make us smile. He is so great to be home with addison while I also work. I love you soooooo much Trevor. Thanks for all that you do for us.

We put together Addison's toy, it was her bouncer
then it was recalled, we called and we got a piece that was to fix it.
So we put it up and on Father's Day she saw it
and loved it she was playing with it, on it as you
can see she just climbs on it.

Irish's freak accident, it is gross just to warn you!!

Irish was at my parents house and he was running from side to side,
and he hit the bottom of the gate and it tore his side,
so after around 57 stitches on the outside he was ready to come home.
We was on pain medication and Antibiotics.
He couldn't be left alone and had to have someone with him, so for the
last two weeks it has been pretty crazy.

Our cute little Irish with his shirt and this cone so he doesn't bug it.

This was right before he had to have a big bandage around his body to
protect him. His skin was dying and it fell off.
So he has had a bandage on for the past week and it is healing good.

Well I can't believe that a year has already gone by. It feels like Addison was just born. we are so lucky to be her parents and that we have her forever. She has already accomplished so much in the last year with rolling over, sitting up, crawling, crawling up the stairs, standing up, walking around holding on to things. From having a bottle, to eating baby food, to now eating adult food (most of it), to having milk. We are so proud of her. She brings us so much joy.

For her Birthday, we went down to the gateway to Build A Bear and she built a pink cute bear. Then we walked around. For lunch we went to chili's and our waitress sang Happy Birthday to her.
Later that night we had all of our family come over. She opened presents (thanks to everyone) and she loved everything. Then she blew out her "1" candle and she ate cake and Ice cream. She then played with all of her cousins and with some of her new toys.
It was a great day. Happy, Happy Birthday to our big Birthday Girl.

We hope you all had a great New Year's Eve. We sure did. I can't believe it is already almost the end of January. Time is flying by so fast. Addison will be 1 in less than a month. It is so exciting so see all the new things she is doing. She loves to walk holding onto things and she has two teeth. She loves eating most of the grown-up foods (which is great).
She loves to be with her daddy and he makes her laugh and smile all the time :). She is one lucky little girl.
I have loved the nice weather we have had the last little bit. We have gone on walks which we love to do. I can't wait for more nice sunny days.

We hope you had a great 2008. We did. We had great things happen to us, with Addison coming into our family and buying our townhouse. We have been very blessed. Addison is such a joy, and brings us so much joy. She is getting so big. She is wanting to do lots and gets into everything.

We always play a game. My grandpa made some peg boards and we have a golf tee. Someone rolls 2 dice and if your number was called then you can put the tee into the hole, once you reach the top you get to get a gift.
It is soooo much fun.

Trevor and I went with his family to see the "Forgotten Carols". What a great way to start out this Christmas season. It was really good.
We decorated our tree and our home for christmas, it is so fun with Addison, she likes to look at all the decorations and see the bright lights. We also put up lights outside our home, yea it is exciting! We have been singing Christmas songs to Addison and the only song she really seems to enjoy or pay any attention to is "Once there was a Snow Man" She smiles and laughs.

We went with my family to Black Island Farm where we went on a hay ride. We then got to pick out our pumpkins. After the hay ride, we went through the corn maze which was a blast.
